When we say "Building for Eternity".......
we mean it!!
We're committed to building superior structures that will stand the test of time......standing up to the fiercest winds, insects, mold, fire and other forces of nature that would consume the traditional stick frame building. But, as devout Christians, we're also committed to making an eternal impact by helping to build the Kingdom!
We consider it all joy to take the gifts and talents that God has given us and use them to help further the work of the Kingdom of God. We know all too well how strapped for cash a ministry can be, and we don't want that to keep God's people from building the facilities they need to be able to minister effectively in their communities. So we've found a way to offer our services in helping your church complete your project as economically as possible - allowing your members to offer their own time and talents to the project if desired. Our ministry projects are not jobs focused on profit, and are typically done at half our normal rate, or even less, whenever possible. Our reward comes in knowing we've made an eternal difference.
So whether your church is beginning a building program, or seriously contemplating one in the next couple of years, please contact us so we can show you how to save money and build smarter. Our construction methodology is quite different from the typical "fixed bid" that most builders use. The nature of a fixed bid is that a contractor will set a fixed price for the project, which will usually include a profit of 28-32% for the contractor. The church will never pay less than the fixed bid, and in most cases, changes and upgrades will ultimately cost the church considerably more. There is no provision in a fixed bid for the church to save money by having their own people do various construction tasks.
But in Construction Management, we're able to sit down with your building committee and develop a budget that includes all your church's needs, and adapt the budget to your ability to obtain financing, by taking into consideration cost reductions for work (or even materials) that your members may be able to contribute, thereby saving your church thousands of dollars in labor and materials. All of the savings are passed on to the church - not the contractor! The budgeting process is completely transparent, so the church knows exactly where every dollar is spent.
The bottom line is that we position ourselves to work WITH the church to get the most from the money available. A Construction Management project will generally come in 15-25% less than a fixed bid project, and sometimes even more depending on how much work the church members take on.
We encouarge you to contact us so we can assist you from the beginning of your project and help keep any unnecessary costs from being incurred. Even if you are still a couple of years out, it may not be too soon to start looking at your options. We can help you with design and planning, and you may even find that you are able to start your project sooner than you thought!
We are currently involved with or have recently built churches in Tallahassee, Quincy, Port St. Joe and Crawfordville, and would like to get involved with your church growth in Franklin, Wakulla, Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson or Gulf County, Florida.
"...We chose ICF, we went from a 108 seat sanctuary to a 275 seat sanctuary and yet our new electric bills are less than half of our previous sanctuary! Praise God!"
